Red Barrels has not announced the release date of the second season. According to the published plan, the new chapter should start before the end of 2024. Although the developers warned that some new aspects of the game will not be released until 2025.
According to Red Barrels, cybersecurity specialists have already investigated the problem, and the loophole in the studio’s defenses has been “localized.” Players’ personal data did not fall into the hands of attackers, but “some of the studio’s information” still leaked to them.
