The Road Ahead is being developed by Saber Interactive and Stormind Games studio. The latter is known for the horror game Remothered and role-playing action game Batora: Lost Haven.

- A full-fledged single-player adventure.
- Nervous atmosphere, where you have to constantly sneak around and hide from monsters.
- Resourcefulness in passing, where you need to explore locations, apply the features of the environment, and find your way to the goal.
