The Rogue Prince of Persia Leaps to Both Switch Consoles December 16

The Rogue Prince Of Persia

Ubisoft and Evil Empire released a trailer for The Rogue Prince of Persia, announcing the game's launch date on Switch and Switch 2. The roguelite platformer arrives on new platforms December 16.

Nintendo console versions are optimized for both handheld and docked modes. The release includes all content from version 1.0: diverse biomes, weapons, medallions, and revamped art direction. Players can enjoy fluid combat, dynamic parkour, and a rich redemption story wherever they are.

As a reminder, The Rogue Prince of Persia lets you become the hero of a legend about a prince spared by death — after each demise, he returns to the living. The protagonist uses this mercy to correct past mistakes and save Persia, carving his path with blades and parkour.

The Rogue Prince Of Persia 1

The Rogue Prince of Persia launched on PC in early access spring 2024. Full release arrived in August 2025 on Steam, Epic Games Store, Microsoft Store, Ubisoft Store, plus PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The Prince is also available via Game Pass and PlayStation Plus subscriptions. Russian text localization is included.

Physical editions of The Rogue Prince of Persia for PlayStation 5, Switch, and Switch 2 go on sale April 10 in two versions — standard and Immortal edition. The latter includes a double-sided poster, card set, and steelbook alongside the game. Pre-orders begin November 14.
