Dotemu and Triskell Interactive have announced Theos: Cities of Myth, a city building sim launching on PC in 2026.
Players lead a fledgling polis and choose one of seven patron deities, with the choice shaping the path to prosperity — Athena supports cultural development, Hermes boosts trade, and Hera's blessing makes the soil fertile.
Beyond pleasing the gods, players manage roads, resources, and buildings including markets, workshops, warehouses, schools of philosophy, and theaters, building a complex ecosystem that gives citizens access to goods and services.
Over time, colonies can be established and trade routes opened with other city-states. Neighboring cities grow alongside the player's polis, react to player actions, and shift the regional balance of power. Cooperation is optional — competing for resources and starting military conflicts are both viable paths.
The game is coming to PC via Steam.
