Just three months after launching in early access, Titan Quest 2 developers at Grimlore Games have released a special update featuring the promised character editor.
Players can now customize their protagonist's appearance and save preset codes to share with other players. Over 50 parameters are available for adjustment. However, the developers note that the editor is currently only accessible when creating new characters, while existing heroes will gain customization options in a future patch.
Beyond the editor addition, developers improved the new player experience — tooltip pop-ups now feature underlined keywords containing more detailed descriptions of gameplay mechanics. The update also includes balance improvements for certain systems, video cutscene subtitles, new voice work for various enemies and NPCs, plus bug fixes.
Titan Quest 2 will remain in early access on Steam and Epic Games Store for approximately one year. Following full release, the game will also launch on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles.
