In early August, developer Grimlore Games with publisher THQ Nordic released the early access version of Titan Quest 2. Nearly two months later, the team has unveiled the first major content update called The Northern Beaches, which unlocks access to the second chapter.
With the patch release, players can explore the Northern Beaches — mythical shores where "legends yearn to claim lost adventurers, and mortals dare not tread." New quests, enemies, and bosses await. Among other additions, the developers highlighted:
- Fourth mastery tier for all playable characters with new active and passive abilities.
- Maximum hero level increased to 45.
- 11 new unique items.
- Multi-tiered affix system that, according to the developers, "should make the loot acquisition process more engaging."
- Numerous bug fixes, rebalancing, and gameplay system improvements.
Titan Quest 2 will remain in early access on Steam and Epic Games Store for approximately one year. Following full release, the game will also launch on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles.
