Outright Games and developer A Heartful of Games have revealed the release date for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants Unleashed, with the launch set for October 18. The announcement comes with a fresh trailer.
Mutants Unleashed is a story-driven project at the intersection of 3D beat-em-up and platformer. The plot develops after the events of the cartoon "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem". Mikey, Leo, Raph and Donnie will have to cope with new mysterious creatures that have flooded New York and find out the reason for their appearance. By the way, the artist Woodrow White is responsible for their design - he also had a hand in the creation of "Mutant Mayhem".
Each hero has their own skill tree and unique moves. New locations open up as you strengthen your relationships with allies like April, Master Splinter, and others. The turtles will also cross paths with Rocksteady, Bebop, and other familiar characters. Skateboarding through the streets, jumping from rooftop to rooftop, and collecting collectibles will be possible both alone and in a two-player co-op.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants Unleashed will be coming to PC (Steam), PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch for $39.99, €39.99, or equivalent in other currencies.
