Treyarch Reveals Darker, Updated Character Skins for Black Ops 7

Call Of Duty Blackops7

Treyarch has announced an overhaul of the Vault Edition operator bundle for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7. The developers listened to community feedback and decided to redesign three of the four fighters while adding a bonus appearance for T.E.D.D.

Karma, Harper, and T.E.D.D. will receive updated skins to better match Black Ops 7's atmosphere. T.E.D.D. gets a version featuring his classic burned face from Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, while the original look shown during the announcement will remain available with minor tweaks. The Reaper EWR-3 skin will stay unchanged.

Vault Edition content won't be available in the Black Ops 7 beta, but bundle owners can try out the updated operators on launch day, November 14th.

The developers also shared character backstories:

Karma - A former coder who became a commander following Raul Menendez's 2025 attacks. Her transformation from tech specialist to military leader reflects the chaos of the Black Ops timeline.
