Twisted Tower — A BioShock-Inspired Amusement Park Shooter Launches August 18

Twisted Tower

3D Realms and Atmos Games have announced that Twisted Tower launches August 18 on PC via Steam.

The game is described as a mix of BioShock and Disneyland. Set in an abandoned 1950s amusement park, once-harmless fairytale mascots have turned into bloodthirsty monsters. The hero must climb to the top of a mysterious tower, survive deadly traps, solve puzzles, and uncover the park's dark past to save his girlfriend.

The game comes from Atmos Games, led by Thomas Brush of Pinstripe and Neversong fame. Combat spans five major locations with an unusual arsenal: a Whack-a-Mole hammer, a rubber band pistol, a dart submachine gun, a shotgun, a bubblegum minigun, a slingshot sniper rifle, and a ray gun. Collectible toys unlock new abilities including enhanced jumps, dashes, and wall-grappling. Multiple routes to the tower's summit add replayability.
