Riot Games announced that competitive shooter Valorant has reached the open beta stage on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.
A few nuances about the beta test:
- Cross-play only works between PlayStation and Xbox. PC users will not be able to compete with console players.
- The open beta test is available in the same regions where closed testing took place: USA, Canada, Europe, Japan, and Brazil.
So, players on consoles will be able to play with other players on consoles, so Xbox players will be able to play with PlayStation players, but console players will not be able to play with PC players.
