poncle has announced that Legacy of the Bloodmoon, a new DLC for Vampire Survivors, launches August 28.
The expansion follows the Blood Moon Clan — one of the most ruthless cults to emerge from the remnants of the Order of the Blood Moon, founded long ago by the saint Baal-Tazar, who vanished during a pilgrimage and never returned.
The DLC includes 10+ playable characters, among them Malizia Crovalun, a ruthless matron who uses her followers as cannon fodder; Calogero Crovalun, a man with a beast's nature, an unquenchable thirst for blood, and a massive axe; Baal-Tazar himself, now a shadow of the man who founded the Order; Ashtarta, one of Baal's earliest followers, reduced to a malevolent entity; and Sargon, an ancient king who followed Baal out of ambition and fear of death, now an eternal prisoner of a hellish dimension.
16+ new weapons are included: the Crimson Needle (paralyzing piercing attacks), Holocaust (wipes out entire crowds), Eclipse of the Firmament (a sinister celestial body that tears reality apart), and Fireball.
The expansion also adds 8 new music tracks and a new XL arena — Blood Moon Manor.
