Vibrant Locations and Combat in Where Winds Meet Gameplay Trailer

Where The Winds Meet Gameplay Trailer

Just days before Where Winds Meet's release, developers at Chinese studio Everstone have stoked public interest with a new gameplay trailer showcasing the protagonist traversing picturesque lands, engaging in combat, and participating in various side activities.

Where Winds Meet transports players to an alternate medieval China during the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms period with wuxia-style fantasy elements. The story follows a mysterious swordsman traveling through a country in turmoil to uncover the secret of his origins. Developers promise over 150 hours of content that can be explored solo or in co-op with up to four players.

Where The Winds Meet Pre Registration

The title uses a free-to-play model, with microtransactions limited to cosmetics that don't affect gameplay. The studio has launched preloading today for those who completed pre-registration. Since registration opened, gamers have created over 10 million accounts. PC preloading is unrestricted, while the PS5 version requires purchasing a separate bundle.

Where Winds Meet launched in its home country at the end of last year, and the Western version releases November 14 on PC (Steam, Epic Games Store) and PlayStation 5. The game remains a Sony console exclusive for at least six months.
