Yesterday, British studio The Chinese Room released another content update for the underperforming Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2.
Valentine's Day Update Features:
Enemy Loot — Enemies on rooftops now carry various elixirs on their belts. Steal them via stealth or loot from corpses.
Blood Packs — New items in the form of blood packs of different types appeared in-game, simplifying point acquisition for unlocking vampiric abilities. These packs are mainly found on Anarchs and their ghouls on rooftops.
New Cosmetics — Developers added 7 new hairstyles, 8 makeup types, 7 accessories, and 4 eye colors. Developers separately noted facial hair. Additionally, character rotation function was added to the customization menu for viewing from all sides.
Save System Improvement — Save loading function is now available during pause, not only in the main menu.
Various bug fixes and optimization improvements.
Story DLC Coming
Content support doesn't end here. This year, Bloodlines 2 receives two story DLCs — Loose Cannon and The Flower & the Flame with stories of Sheriff Benny and Primogen Isabella respectively. Expansions launch from April through October.
Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2 is available on PC (Steam, GOG, Epic Games Store), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
