Fatshark has released a new DLC for Warhammer 40,000: Darktide introducing the Skitarii Tech-Priest as a playable class.
The servant of the Machine God brings deep skill customization and a varied arsenal including electric staves, blinding phosphor blasters, cutting transonic blades, and powerful galvanic rifles. An adaptive servo-skull accompanies the Skitarius in battle, attacking enemies and collecting data simultaneously. As the Blitz ability levels up, new servo-skulls with different functions become available.
The non-linear talent tree allows builds ranging from a precision long-range marksman to an Omnissiah-crazed melee fighter or an electricity-wielding force of destruction. Cosmetic customization includes choice of materials, augmentation schematics, home Forge World, and four voice options with modulation settings.
Darktide currently holds over 130,000 Steam reviews at 71% positive and is available on PC (Steam, Microsoft Store), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series, including Game Pass.
