Bulwark Studios recently released a free PC demo for Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus 2 — an upcoming isometric tactics game set in the Warhammer 40K universe, chronicling the conflict between Tech-Priests and Necrons.
In the fresh demo, players can experience gameplay mechanics of both factions during several hours of the prologue. As a reminder, the main events unfold on a Forge World where Adeptus Mechanicus activity awakened the Necrons led by Wargard Nefershar. Now the Necrons seek to cleanse their world of invaders, while the Tech-Priests defend their interests under Magos-Dominus Faustinus.
Both factions feature their own story campaigns and distinctive gameplay elements. Throughout the experience, players must use their units' abilities as efficiently as possible across diverse locations with destructible environments.
Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus 2 is in development for PC (Steam, Epic Games Store), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Release date remains unannounced.
