The First DLC for Warhammer 40k: Rogue Trader Released

WH40K

Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader has received its first story DLC - Void Shadows. It offers a new quest chain on the Rogue Trader's ship.

This time, your power is threatened by the insidious Genestealers, who have managed to sneak onto the ship. A new companion, Kybella, with whom a romance is also available, will help in the confrontation with them. She is an experienced assassin from the Death Cult, who swore an oath to faithfully serve the von Valantius dynasty even before your arrival.

It will take an average of 15 hours to complete the storyline from the add-on. During this time, players will visit new locations, meet additional crew members, work on ship upgrades and try to eliminate the growing threat. In addition, two new classes were introduced with the add-on - the Death Dancer and the Executioner.

Along with the release of the expansion, Rogue Trader received patch 1.2.1.7. Owlcat Games continued to improve the game by fixing bugs, adjusting balance, refining the interface and visual effects, and so on.

Now the team will throw its efforts into the big update 1.3, which will bring many quality-of-life improvements to the game, a bunch of important changes for various aspects of the title, and more.

Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader Void Shadows is now available on PC (Steam, GOG, EGS), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series. Season pass holders can get the DLC for free. For everyone else, it will cost $9. The next DLC for the role-playing game is already in development. It will launch sometime in the spring of 2025.
