The developers of the "Excellent" boomer shooter Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun at Auroch Digital have released an announcement trailer for their new project, Warhammer Survivors. Unlike other survivors-likes, this title is officially endorsed by the Vampire Survivors creators at Poncle, who provided developers with their engine.
Warhammer Survivors offers familiar gameplay across two universes — Warhammer 40K and Warhammer: Age of Sigmar, where diverse heroes battle hordes of Tyranids and Skaven respectively. The playable character roster includes Space Marine Malum Caedo (Boltgun's protagonist), Zephyros Knight Neave Blacktalon, monster slayer Gotrek Gurnisson, and others.
Key features of the upcoming title include:
- Fast-paced, intense Survivors gameplay
- Multiple modes and locations from both Warhammer 40,000 and Age of Sigmar
- Arsenal of familiar weapons and various Easter eggs
- Gradually unlockable passive abilities and power-ups
- Secrets and collectibles
- "Much more"
Warhammer Survivors launches in 2026 on PC (Steam). Meanwhile, Auroch Digital is also working on Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2, also scheduled for next year.
