Ahead of Tokyo Game Show 2025, Capcom held their presentation focused on new content for previously announced games. Demos of all showcased titles will be available to attendees at Capcom's booth during the expo.
The 40-minute event featured several major titles:
Pragmata
The presentation kicked off with a new gameplay trailer for Pragmata — the upcoming sci-fi third-person action game that was first announced back in 2020.
The footage focused on the Sanctuary — a hub location where protagonists can enhance their abilities, unlock new equipment, and plan their next moves. As a reminder, Pragmata tells the story of astronaut Hugh and android girl Diana, who battle against hostile AI on a lunar station. To effectively combat mechanical enemies, players need to utilize Diana's hacking abilities, which are presented through simple mini-puzzle mechanics.
Pragmata is in development for PC (Steam), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series. The release is scheduled for 2026.
Mega Man Star Force: Legacy Collection
Capcom revealed a new trailer for Mega Man Star Force: Legacy Collection — a compilation of classic games from the Mega Man Star Force series featuring enhanced gameplay elements.
Among the improvements, developers highlighted online play, visual filters, an art gallery, music player, expanded difficulty settings, and an extensive collection of battle cards — including those previously only available during limited-time events.
The collection includes:
- Mega Man Star Force Leo
- Mega Man Star Force Dragon
- Mega Man Star Force Pegasus
- Mega Man Star Force 2 Zerker x Ninja
- Mega Man Star Force 2 Zerker x Saurian
- Mega Man Star Force 3 Black Ace
- Mega Man Star Force 3 Red Joker
Mega Man Star Force: Legacy Collection launches next year on PC (Steam), PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch.
Street Fighter 6
The creators of fighting game Street Fighter 6 announced the release date for the new DLC fighter Viper — an elite CIA agent who combines combat skills with spy gadgets.
The character is part of the new quartet of DLC fighters for Street Fighter 6's third year of content support. Season pass holders have already received Sagat, with Alex (early spring 2026) and Ingrid (late spring 2026) coming later.
Viper will be available on October 15th. Additionally, players can expect cosmetic collaborations with Monster Hunter Wilds and Banshee's Last Cry. Developers also highlighted a new mech suit for Zangief, launching alongside Viper.
Street Fighter 6 is available on PC (Steam), PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and Nintendo Switch 2. A 50% discount is currently active in celebration of the upcoming expo.
Onimusha: Way of the Sword
The creators of Onimusha: Way of the Sword released a new story trailer focusing on the protagonist's relationships with his allies.
The new Onimusha stars legendary samurai Miyamoto Musashi, who seeks to cleanse Kyoto of demons that have consumed the city. Besides his trusty katana, the hero wields the mystical Oni Gauntlet. This artifact allows Musashi to absorb demon souls. However, the protagonist understands that the demonic gauntlet brings no good, so he searches for a way to sever his connection to it.
Onimusha: Way of the Sword arrives on PC (Steam), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series in 2026.
Monster Hunter Wilds
The Monster Hunter Wilds team revealed details about the third major content update, launching September 29th.
First, players can expect a Final Fantasy XIV collaboration, where they'll team up with MMO heroes to hunt the Omega Planet. The crossover features two classes from Final Fantasy XIV — Dark Knight and Pictomancer with corresponding abilities and equipment.
The update also challenges players to face the Arch-Tempered Nu Udra and complete a new quest chain offering Grade 8 rarity materials. The patch includes four nostalgic gestures and a new festival.
Monster Hunter Wilds is available on PC (Steam), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series. The fourth major patch launches in December.
Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection
The presentation concluded with an extended trailer and release date announcement for Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection — the third installment in the story-driven Monster Hunter JRPG sub-series featuring turn-based combat and riders as protagonists.
The threequel tells the story of two dying peoples whose despair only grows with the hatching of twin Rathalos — harbingers of destruction. The story follows the heir of Azuria and the only Rathalos rider, who teams up with Princess Vermeil Eleanor to venture into forbidden lands beyond the northern meridian and uncover the true causes of the cataclysm.
Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection releases March 13th next year on PC (Steam), PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and Nintendo Switch 2.
