Wild Roguelite Shooter Roboquest VR Launches November 20

Roboquest VR

Studios RyseUp and Flat2VR Studios, alongside publisher Starbreeze Studios, have announced the release date for roguelite shooter Roboquest VR. The game arrives on VR platforms November 20.

Roboquest VR lets players take on the role of a Guardian, battling machine hordes in a post-apocalyptic world designed for chaos and experimentation. Each run is unique: levels change, and over 70 weapon types await discovery. Dual-wield pistols, charge rockets, or engage in lightning-fast melee combat.

The game was completely rebuilt for VR with manual reloading, interactive weapon handling, and planned co-op mode. On PlayStation VR2, players will feel the recoil of every shot and strike through adaptive triggers, controller and headset haptics, plus HDR graphics and enhanced eye tracking.

As a reminder, the original Roboquest is one of the best roguelites in recent years. On Steam, the project boasts 95% positive reviews, while Metacritic shows an 85 press score. On Valve's platform, the game is 40% off until November 12.

Experience the Roboquest world through new eyes on SteamVR, PlayStation VR2, and Quest 2 and 3 headsets.
