Wolfeye Studios, an independent game development company co-founded by Raphael Colantonio, who previously established Arkane Studios and co-created Dishonored and Prey, has announced that it is currently working on an untitled first-person action RPG.
This project has recently completed its pre-production phase and is now fully in production. The studio describes the game as an "ambitious new IP" that draws on the essence of earlier Arkane titles, promising to offer a richly detailed world, player freedom, and a deep RPG experience.
This announcement follows a hint made during the Game Developers Conference 2024 in March, where Wolfeye Studios displayed a whiteboard from their Austin office featuring the phrases "retro sci-fi" and "first-person." Along with the announcement, three screenshots were released, providing a glimpse into the game's development.
