Xenoblade Chronicles X Remaster will be Released on March 20

Xenoblade

Monolith Soft studio presented an announcement trailer for the enhanced edition of Xenoblade Chronicles X. The original title was released in 2015 on the Wii U hybrid console, and now the developers are preparing a remaster for Nintendo Switch. In addition to improved graphics, Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition will offer new content, including story content.

Unlike the main trilogy, in this part, players create their own protagonist. The events of Xenoblade Chronicles X will send gamers to 2054, when humanity left the dying Earth due to an intergalactic war. The main role is played by one of the surviving members of the New Los Angeles colony, whose task is to help people develop a hostile planet called Mira.

During the missions, players will meet a motley crew of characters, assemble a team, and work on improving their customizable mech. In addition to single-player play, a multiplayer mode is announced.

The release of Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition will take place on March 20, 2025 exclusively for Nintendo Switch. The remaster will cost $59.99.
