KING Art has published a 15-minute multiplayer gameplay demo for Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War 4, featuring creative director Jan Theysen and senior game designer Elliott Verbiest in a Space Marines vs Orks match.
The footage highlights faction identity and map control dynamics. Space Marines bring dominant firepower but must prevent the Orks from snowballing their numbers — once the Ork horde grows large enough, the tide can turn quickly. The demo is designed to showcase the scale and pace of multiplayer.
Space Marines and Orks are two of four launch factions alongside Adeptus Mechanicus and Necrons. Post-launch, the first DLC faction — still unannounced — arrives in spring 2027 with the Aftermath expansion.
Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War 4 launches September 17 on PC via Steam.
