Rebel Wolves has released a 30-minute gameplay demo for The Blood of Dawnwalker, recorded by VGC.
The footage is split into two sections from the very beginning of the game. The first half shows Coen exploring his home village before becoming a half-vampire, the second follows him getting to grips with his new abilities. The demo is a mix of atmospheric locations, NPC dialogue, and brief combat sections.
Rebel Wolves is placing heavy emphasis on nonlinearity. The game has a single main objective — overthrow a vampire despot and save Coen's family — but the paths to that goal can vary dramatically. Players can storm the villain's castle alone from the outset, or spend time recruiting allies, gathering powerful weapons, and building a detailed plan.
The Blood of Dawnwalker launches September 3 on PC (Steam), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series.
