Cold Iron Studios has confirmed that Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 launches August 25. A standard edition is priced at $49.99, with a premium 40th anniversary edition at $69.99 including two cosmetic packs styled after Ellen Ripley and Herk Mondo.
The sequel is a 4-player co-op shooter where Colonial Marines fight through xenomorph hordes. New enemy types are more aggressive and varied, forcing constant movement and adaptation. The arsenal includes electric batons for close-quarters emergencies, fire ammo, and electric ammunition for crowd control. A fully customizable Specialist class and deeper squad mechanics are among the key additions over the original.
Horde mode maps are available at launch, offering escalating waves of xenomorphs and other enemies with increasingly valuable rewards.
Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 is coming to PC (Steam, Epic Games Store), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series.
