Patch Improvements
According to the official description, the update enhances PC stability, resolves progression issues, and eliminates a bug where weapons from the Gilded Glory Pack (awarded for pre-orders) were appearing in regular loot chests.
The patch also addresses crashes that could occur due to specific animations, audio processing, collision detection, and graphics card-related problems. Players who experienced broken reward centers after receiving Gilded Glory Pack items will find this issue resolved.
New Content Added
The update introduces endgame content to Borderlands 4 that will refresh weekly. New additions include an enhanced version of an existing boss and special quests that reward players with legendary equipment upon completion.
Console Release Timeline
When a similar update will reach consoles remains unclear. The patch notes indicate that one minor fix will "arrive on consoles in the coming days," suggesting a larger patch for PS5 and Xbox Series consoles may already be in development.
