Crimson Desert received a new update over the weekend.
Highlights From Patch 1.02.00
Personal storage expanded — capacity can now be increased from a base 240 slots up to 1,000, depending on camp upgrade progress. The first four camp expansions add 100 slots each, and the final one adds 360 more.
Two movement control types added — Basic and Classic. Selectable in the Input settings. Basic requires holding the sprint button to accelerate; Classic requires pressing it repeatedly.
Helmet display option added under Language & Game settings, with four modes: always show, show only in combat, hide in cutscenes only, or always hide. A similar toggle for weapons is coming later.
Abyss Trace can now be used while moving, with exceptions for vehicle control and the Flight skill.
Explosive barrels — both standard and lightning variants — are now easier to identify when lit by a lantern or the Light Reflection skill.
Graphics improvements — FSR upscaling quality improved on PC and consoles; PS5 Pro received an updated PSSR implementation with native anti-aliasing in Quality mode and a sharpening feature. Stability and optimization also improved across platforms.
Some special monster designs have been updated, and additional Abyss Nexus points have been placed in the Pailung camp.
New helmet and armor added for cats.
Crimson Desert has now surpassed 4 million copies sold. The game is available on PC (Steam, Microsoft Store), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series.
