Alongside a new trailer shown at Xbox Games Showcase 2026, Playground Games has announced Order of the Hero, a full story expansion for the upcoming Fable reboot.
The DLC takes players to a new region of Albion filled with wonders and dangers, centered around a mysterious ancient cult that the player can rise to lead. As influence grows among the cult's followers, players direct rituals and shape the organization according to their own vision — noble, ruthless, or simply strange. The central question: what happened to the previous leader?
Order of the Hero is included in the Premium Edition, available for pre-order now alongside 5-day early access, 2 cosmetic packs, 9 in-game resources, and a digital artbook. No release date for the DLC has been set.
Fable launches February 23, 2027 on PC (Steam, Microsoft Store), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series, including Game Pass.
