The next-gen update for Fallout 4 broke many mods and added more trouble to the FOLON team. Because of this, Fallout: London even had to be postponed. However, the extra time did not help the craftsmen make their creation compatible with the latest version of the game, so they came up with another solution.
To play Fallout: London, you'll have to roll back to an older version of Fallout 4. Fortunately, the corresponding function is already built into the mod installer. Is it really impossible to do without a "downgrade"? Project manager Dean Carter answers: "At the very last moment, we discovered that the next-gen update of Fallout 4 is not stable enough, even after several patches from Bethesda. So we're moving to the old version."
The developer added that constant updates for the next-gen version of Fallout 4 did not help the modding process in any way and brought only "utter despair." They say that every failure forced the team to start testing again. That is why FOLON decided to go the downgrade route. Compatibility of Fallout: London with the next-gen "four" will be provided later, when the game becomes more stable.
Fallout: London still doesn't have a release date, but the long-awaited release is "just around the corner." The modification is currently undergoing quality testing within GOG — the project turned out to be so large-scale and weighty that it couldn't be downloaded via Nexus Mods. It seems that only the decision of GOG specialists is preventing us from launching the modification.
