Jason Brody

Jason Brody is the main protagonist in Far Cry 3. He is a young American man who comes to a tropical island in the Indian Ocean and is kidnapped by pirates during a vacation.

At the beginning of the game, Jason is an ordinary guy, inexperienced with violence. However, as the game progresses, he evolves into a skilled warrior, learning the ways of combat and survival to rescue his friends and escape the island.

Gianpaolo Venuta: Actor of Jason Brody

Gianpaolo Venuta is the talented Canadian actor who brings Jason Brody to life in Far Cry 3. He is not very famous, but you may find him in some other movies like “Noel” and “Time Bomb”, or TV shows and even other video games. You may also see him in “Last Exit” or the thrilling “Joy Ride 3: Roadkill”.

Vaas Montenegro

Vaas Montenegro is the primary antagonist in Far Cry 3. He is an unpredictable and psychopathic leader of a group of pirates operating on the Rook Islands. His character is infamous for his erratic behavior, philosophical monologues about insanity, and propensity for violence. Due to his monologues and well-developed character, Vaas became one of the most memorable villains in video game history.

Vaas is responsible for kidnapping the protagonist, Jason Brody, and his friends while they are on vacation.

Michael Mando: Actor of Vaas Montenegro

Michael Mando is the Canadian actor who became the face of Vaas Montenegro in Far Cry 3. Michael has showcased his acting in many roles, making him a familiar face on both TV and the big screen. You might know Michael from “Better Call Saul” or “Orphan Black”.

Citra Talugmai

Citra is a central figure of the Rakyat tribe, native to the game’s tropical island, and holds a special place in the story.  She’s a leader, a spiritual guide, and a force to be reckoned with. However, Citra has her own goals in this story.

As you play, Citra and Jason Brody become closely linked. She sees something in Jason, calling him a warrior and the island’s savior. It feels like a familiar story, but there’s more to it. In short, Citra Talugmai is a character that makes you navigate the game’s challenges.

Faye Kingslee: Actress of Citra Talugmai

Faye Kingslee is the actress of Citra Talugmai in Far Cry 3 and has made a career in both the acting and video game worlds. On TV, you might have seen her in shows like “DC’s Legends of Tomorrow” or “Unforgettable”. She’s also been part of films like “Last Resort”.

He fills you in on the basics, from the island’s layout to its dangerous inhabitants like pirates and Vaas. He also introduces you to the Rakyat, the island’s native tribe.

Charles Malik Whitfield: Actor of Dennis Rogers

Charles Malik Whitfield is an American actor, famous for his side roles across television and film. He is perhaps most recognized for his role as Otis Williams in the miniseries "The Temptations". Whitfield has also appeared in a variety of other roles on television shows, including parts in "Supernatural" and "Empire".

Outside of these roles, Charles Malik Whitfield has been involved in numerous other projects across a broad spectrum of genres.

Hoyt Volker

Hoyt Volker is one of the antagonists in Far Cry 3. He is unpredictable, extremely violent, and has a grip on the island's illicit activities, including drug trafficking and human slavery.

Hoyt is of South African descent and heads the Privateers, a group of mercenaries that protect his business interests and enforce his rule over the islands. He also has ties to another antagonist in the game, Vaas, who leads the local pirate group and serves as one of Hoyt's warriors.

Steve Cumyn: Actor of Hoyt Volker

Hailing from Canada, Steve Cumyn has showcased his acting skills in a range of projects. One of his roles is Tony Beroni in “Paradise Falls”. But that’s not all. Fans of the big screen might also recognize him from the “RoboCop” movie, where he once again proved his mettle.

Grant Brody

Grant Brody is Jason’s elder brother, has a military background, and always trying to look out for his friends.

However, just as you start to see the bond between the brothers, tragedy strikes. Vaas, in a shocking turn of events, takes Grant’s life. It pushes Jason into the heart of the island’s chaos, driving him to evolve, fight, and seek justice.

Lane Edwards: Actor of Grant Brody

Lane Edwards was born in Alberta, Canada, and has carved a niche for himself in the entertainment industry. With a career spanning several years, Lane has showcased his versatility across various roles and mediums. One of his most notable performances is in the blockbuster film “Godzilla” (2014). Lane has also been a part of other significant projects like “The Age of Adaline” (2015) and the TV series “Falling Skies” (2011).

Beyond the big screen and television, Lane Edwards has also made a mark as a model and entertainer.

Riley Brody

Riley Brody is the younger brother of the game’s main character – Jason. Captured by the menacing Vaas, Riley’s separation from the group sets Jason on a relentless quest to find him. And the stakes get even higher when you discover that Hoyt, the mastermind behind the island’s chaos, is the one holding Riley.

However, the game offers only a couple of dialogues with him, and they don’t reveal much about his personality or backstory.

Alex Harrouch: Actor of Riley Brody

Alex Harrouch is a Canadian actor that appearances in various television shows and films. However, specific details about his early life or career are not be widely known. 

One of his most recognizable roles is that of Tim in the Canadian television series "Degrassi: The Next Generation". He also took part in "Degrassi".

Liza Snow

Liza Snow is a girlfriend of the game's protagonist, Jason Brody, and is among the group of friends kidnapped by pirates after they land on the Rook Islands.

Liza's character is caring and resourceful. As Jason embarks on a dangerous journey to rescue his friends and escape the islands, Liza's fate becomes one of his primary motivations. 

Mylène Dinh-Robic: Actress of Liza Snow

Mylène Dinh-Robic, born on April 17, 1979, is a Canadian actress. She was born and raised in Montreal, Quebec. Over the years, Mylène has showcased her acting prowess in various projects, earning recognition and acclaim for her performances. One of her remaceble roles is in the series “19-2”.

Daisy Lee

Daisy Lee is a side character is Far Cry 3. She is part of the group of friends, kidnapped by pirates. She is a close friend of Jason and his brother Riley.

Daisy is resilient and supportive person. She has a background in nursing, which becomes invaluable as she tends to the wounds of the group members and provides medical care with limited resources.

Natalie Brown: Actress of Daisy Lee

Natalie Brown is a Canadian actress, known for her roles is some films and TV movies. She has also appeared in some TV series such as "The Strain" and "Being Human".

As for her involvement in Far Cry 3, Natalie Brown lent her voice and appearance to Daisy Lee.

Keith Ramsey

Keith Ramsey is a character in Far Cry 3 and one of the friends who accompany Jason Brody. He’s the epitome of success – an investment banker with a towering presence.

James A. Woods: Actor of Keith Ramsey

Kristian Hodko

Kristian Hodko is an international film and television actor. He was born in Croatia, but grew up in Montreal. He is fluent and knows several languages: French, English, Spanish, and Croatian.

Kristian has roles in several TV shows, movies, and video games. You might saw him in "The Race of Life", "The Woods Are Still Green", or popular series "Reign". Besides the Far Cry 3, he was a Motion Capture Actor for Assassin's Creed 3.

Willis Huntley

Willis Huntley is a CIA agent in Far Cry 3, working undercover and keeping a close eye on the island’s notorious pirates, Vaas and Hoyt.

Throughout the game, Willis pops up now and then, recruiting you for covert missions. But just as quickly as he appears, he vanishes.

Alain Goulem: Actor of Willis Huntley

Alain Goulem is a Canadian actor known for his work in films, television, and voice acting in video games. Perhaps you saw Alain in TV Series "18 to Life", or movies "Deadfall", "Snake Eyes", "In the Jam Jar".

As for the video games, he was a voice actor in many popular games like "Assassin's Creed", "Outlast", "Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy", "The Outer Worlds", and in "Far Cry" series.

Sam Becker

Sam is a former CIA agent, undercover within Hoyt Volker’s ranks. His mission is to take down Hoyt from the inside. But things take a twist when he loses contact with his handler, Willis Huntley. Alone and surrounded by enemies, Sam holds onto his cover, waiting for the right moment to strike.

Dr. Alec Earnhardt

Dr. Earnhardt is a drug dealer on the island. He is producing drugs and trade with the local pirates. However, during the game he becomes an unexpected ally for Jason Brody.

Their paths cross when Dr. Earnhardt rescues Daisy Lee, one of Jason’s friends. Grateful for the doctor’s help, Jason soon finds himself running errands for him. In return, the doctor offers Jason a safe haven – a hidden cave beneath his mansion, perfect for sheltering his rescued friends.

Buck Hughes

Buck is a master manipulator, working under Hoyt Volker. You meet him when Jason sets out to rescue his friend, Keith Ramsey. Buck, having bought Keith as a slave, holds the key to his freedom. But instead of a simple exchange, Buck sends Jason on a wild goose chase. The mission? Find an ancient dagger, piece by piece, using a fragmented compass as a guide.
