After several social media hints, Ubisoft officially confirmed that Far Cry 3: Classic Edition will run smoother on current-generation consoles. The patch with 60 fps support for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S releases January 21.
Judging by developers' simple puzzle, similar updates with increased frame rates await Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon and Far Cry Primal.
Previously, 60 fps injections for consoles were received by Far Cry 4, Assassin's Creed Syndicate, and other Ubisoft projects.
Far Cry 3 is avalaible on PC (Steam), Xbox, and PlayStation.
