GTA 6 Leaker Threatens to Release Full Game Before Launch

Gta 6 Leak

A leaker known as Cyberleek says it has a complete playable build of Grand Theft Auto VI and will release it before launch. In an October 10 announcement, the leaker said the build goes public once its cryptocurrency token reaches a $30 million market capitalization. The only exception is if Take-Two Interactive agrees to release physical game discs and apologize publicly.

The ultimatum was posted on Cyberleek’s website in a statement titled “The Offer.” The leaker says the build contains the whole single-player campaign, including the ending and credits, and offered to show specific parts of the story on request as proof.

“CYBERLEEK hits 30 million marketcap, the build goes out,” the announcement reads.

The $30 million figure is the token’s market value. It is not a payment from Take-Two. When PC Gamer covered the announcement, the token was about $26 million short of that target.

The statement gives Take-Two two options. The first is “physical disks and a public apology.” The second is to “gamble that CL is bluffing.”

The disc demand builds on complaints Cyberleek has made before. The leaker has objected to digital preorders, to charging extra to unlock single-player content that is already in the game files, and to games that stop working when their servers shut down. Cyberleek has also called for single-player games to stay playable offline after online support ends.

The cryptocurrency complicates that message. Cyberleek has used leaked GTA 6 footage to promote the token before, so the ultimatum may be aimed at drawing attention and trading activity as much as at pushing the publisher on consumer rights.

The leaker has been posting GTA 6 material since August 2026, including footage said to come from Rockstar’s development builds. Earlier clips reportedly showed protagonists Jason and Lucia driving, riding motorcycles, street racing, and interacting with other characters. One ran for about 25 minutes. In another, PC Gamer reported, the leaker appeared to be playing a build directly and used gunfire to write their name in the game world. More recent footage appears to show Lucia fighting near an ATM and then trying a parachute jump from a skyscraper. Rockstar has not authenticated any of it.

The footage suggests Cyberleek has some development material, but nothing independently shows that the leaker has the full campaign. The person or group behind the leaks hasn’t been identified. Neither Rockstar nor Take-Two has publicly responded to the ultimatum, and no complete build has been confirmed online.

Grand Theft Auto VI is still scheduled for November 19, 2026, on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
