Supergiant Games has rolled out Hades 2's first major content update since the game's full release. After entering beta testing on October 23, the patch is now fully available on PC and Nintendo Switch.
Endgame Improvements Based on Feedback
The developers focused on refining the endgame experience based on player feedback. Beyond the usual bug fixes and minor balance tweaks, the update delivers:
True Ending Enhancements:
- New scenes and character interactions added both before and after the final credits, making the conclusion feel more cohesive
- Increased number of required Underworld runs to reach the ending
Fresh Start Option:
- A new cauldron incantation for players who already beat the true ending before this patch
- Lets you roll back progress to an earlier stage so you can experience all the new content
Quality of Life:
- Several character-related prophecies now progress faster
- Reduced costs for many decorative items at the Crossroads, with excess spending refunded to players
Platform Availability
Hades 2 is available on PC (Steam, Epic Games Store), Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2. PlayStation and Xbox versions are planned for the future.
