Independent studio Dreamate has released an early version of its debut game. New Arc Line is an isometric RPG and a "spiritual successor" to Arcanum, which invites gamers to participate in the escalating conflict between technological progress and traditional magic.
New Arc Line was released in early access on Steam, GOG and Epic Games Store. A full release is planned for next year - at that time the game will also settle on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series consoles.
At the launch of the early version, the developers offer about a quarter of the main storyline and a third of all planned content for 10–12 hours of play. Already now, gamers can try out the abilities of three companions, two playable races and two classes.
During the entire period of early access, the studio intends to improve the finished elements of the game based on the feedback received, as well as release content updates with fresh quests, classes, companions, abilities, equipment, and so on. In the near future, the authors will present a detailed roadmap of innovations.
