Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2 Gets Winter Content Update

Vampire The Masquerade Bloodlines2

The British studio The Chinese Room announced the winter update release for Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2. Beyond traditional bug fixes and optimization improvements, the fresh patch offers a small batch of new features.

Winter Update Includes

  • Customizable difficulty level unlocking after first playthrough. Players can adjust UI elements, elixir reserves, starting health, damage, environment masquerade sensitivity, and more. Story episodes can also be disabled (both Phyre and Fabian). Developers highlighted the maximum difficulty, Iron Vamp mode.
  • New holiday-themed cosmetics — beyond Santa hat and beard, 8 new hair colors, 8 makeup options, 8 eye colors, and 4 new accessories were added. Developers promise more beard options in the next patch.
  • Field of view slider.
  • Motion blur settings.

More Content Coming

Content support doesn't end here. Developers have a Valentine's Day-themed update planned (featuring save system improvements), plus two DLCs — Loose Cannon and The Flower & the Flame with stories about Sheriff Benny and Primogen Isabella respectively. The expansions launch in Q2 and Q3 next year.

Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2 is available on PC (Steam, GOG, Epic Games Store), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
