Publisher Deep Silver and developer KING Art Games, known for Iron Harvest, have announced Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War 4 for PC. The game will arrive on digital storefronts in 2026.
Players will command four unique factions from the Warhammer 40,000 universes: Space Marines, Orks, Necrons, and Adeptus Mechanicus. Each faction features distinct commanders, combat units, buildings, and mechanics, allowing players to wage bloody warfare according to their own tactical preferences.
Dawn of War 4's storyline, created with input from legendary Black Library author John French, promises to deliver the series' most expansive saga yet. Each faction will receive its own dedicated campaign featuring cinematic cutscenes and fully animated sequences. The game supports both single-player and cooperative play modes.
Return to Strategic Roots
The series returns to its foundational elements: recruit armies, construct bases, equip warriors, and utilize an enhanced synchronized kill system that showcases melee combat with unprecedented detail and brutality.
Diverse Game Modes
Players can experience "Last Stand" mode, customizable AI battles, and online multiplayer conflicts in 1v1, 2v2, or 3v3 formats. The game offers extensive army customization options, allowing players to apply unique color schemes to their forces or command traditional Warhammer 40,000 faction appearances.
Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War 4 will launch exclusively on PC via Steam, marking the legendary strategy series' highly anticipated return to the grim darkness of the far future.
