Blizzard has announced that The Worldsoul Saga's continuation in World of Warcraft arrives March 2, 2026 — when the Midnight expansion launches. The news comes with a brief teaser.
Journey to Quel'Thalas
In WoW: Midnight, the story turns to the elven kingdom of Quel'Thalas, which must repel Xal'atath's invasion of Azeroth and battle the Void Storm. The expansion's main innovation is player housing, which can be furnished to personal taste.
Major Features and Changes
Developers also reworked familiar map areas and added new ones, introduced Haranir recruitment, more raids and dungeons, a new Demon Hunter specialization — Devourers, improved transmogrification, and more.
Preorders Available Now
World of Warcraft: Midnight is available for preorder. The standard edition costs €50, with two pricier options — "Heroic" at €70 and "Epic" at €90. Those who preorder any edition get early access to player housing (from December 2) and receive trading tokens (500, 1,000, or 2,000 depending on the bundle). Each edition's contents can be reviewed on the game's website.
