Borderlands 4 players can claim three Golden Keys using a new SHiFT code, but must act fast as it expires December 31. The code is part of Gearbox Software's 12 Days of Mercenary Day holiday promotion.
How to Redeem
Players can redeem codes two ways: visit the official SHiFT website, log into their account (or create one), ensure platform linking is complete, then enter the code in the Rewards section under Code Redemption. Alternatively, redeem codes directly through Borderlands 4's in-game SHiFT menu.
More Holiday Rewards Available
This isn't the only active SHiFT code. Gearbox is offering various rewards during the 12 Days of Mercenary Day, including the Winter Borderland Vault Hunter Skin and World on His Shoulders Skin. More gifts are expected before year's end.
Recent Updates
The promotion follows Borderlands 4's December 11 update adding endgame content, new difficulty options, and raid boss Bloomreaper the Invincible. The Season's Looting event launched December 18 with increased Legendary drop rates, running until January 8, 2026.
2026 Roadmap
Gearbox has more planned for 2026, including Q1's first Story Pack featuring new Vault Hunter C4SH, plus additional Bounty Packs and Invincible bosses.
