Remedy Entertainment said in its post-launch plans that New Game++ should arrive in CONTROL Resonant in October 2026, with Photo Mode expected in November. Neither update has an exact release date. More cosmetics for Dylan Faden are also planned, though Remedy has not said how many or when they will arrive.
The game launched with New Game+, which currently allows only one extra playthrough. New Game++ will let players start another run after finishing that one, without losing their accumulated progress. Remedy joked, "Do 665 runs if you want!", though there's no stated cap.
Photo Mode has been in development for some time. Remedy consulted virtual photographers from the CONTROL community while designing it, and said it focused on the state of the base game before adding the mode. The studio hasn't detailed Photo Mode's tools yet.
After finishing the story, players can keep exploring Manhattan, complete side quests, and discover World Feats before starting New Game+. CONTROL Resonant launched on September 24, 2026, on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.
