Slay the Spire is a rather unique and popular roguelike game, which combines cards and dungeon crawling. The game is available on many platforms and takes almost 200 hours to complete.
I've played almost the whole game on my phone, and recently I decided to play it on PS5. Here I came across the question of whether Slay the Spire cross platform, when I was thinking how I could transfer the progress of my game from one device to another.
I did not find any article on this topic, so I decided to do my own tests and will describe in this article all that I have learned about cross platform and cross progression in Slay the Spire.
Is Slay the Spire Cross Platform?
I played Slay the Spire on iOS, downloaded it on PS5, and Steam, and discovered that Slay the Spire doesn't support cross-platforming at all.
I thought this was rather odd, as Slay the Spire looks like a game that definitely supports cross platform.
However, there was no way I could transfer my game progress from my phone to Mac or PS5, or between them. So I can confidently say that Slay the Spire is not cross-platform.
I also tried to find any useful information on Reddit and Steam, but there are no signs that Slay the Spire is cross platform.
Does Slay the Spire Support Cross Save?
Unfortunately, the Slay the Spire cross save feature is unavailable. Similarly the Cross Progression, it is not supported.
This comes directly out of the fact that Slay the Spire does not support cross platform. So, there is no way you can transfer your progress or savings from one platform to another.
This applies to all platforms including iOS, Android, Switch, PC, PS, and Xbox.
However, if I miss something and you know how to do that - please, contact me.
Conclusion
To my great surprise, Slay the Spire does not support cross-platform, Cross Save, and Cross Progression. So there is no way to transfer your progress in the game from one device to another.
