Cart is a useful transport tool in Valheim that allows you to carry large amounts of resources over long distances. It's especially helpful when moving items between a base and mines, ore deposits, or forest chopping sites.
Actually, I really like using carts, especially in the early stages of the game. You can unlock a craft in the Dark Forest and craft it using 20 wood and 10 bronze nails.

How to Craft Cart in Valheim
To build a cart in Valheim, you need to progress through the game a bit, to the Black Forest. To get the required material, you need a Forge, a Smelter, and some Bronze.
After you get everything necessary, you need to craft Bronze nails. That will unlock a receipt of the Valheim cart:

When you get all the necessary materials, you need to take your Hammer near the workbench, right-click, go to the Misc section, choose a cart, and create it.
How to Use Cart in Valheim
You have two options to use a cart in Valheim: access the cart's inventory, and pull it.
This access the inventory, simply press E when you face the cart. After you open it, you can place the items inside, or take them back.
If you need to pull a cart, you need to face one of two pulling bars at the front of the cart, and press E pull. However, mind that you need to stay between those bars before you press E.
